Hi, I'm Rachael.

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I’ve had a camera in my hand and a keen sense to capture everything around me.

I’ve always loved a photograph’s ability to freeze a moment and all the emotions that came with it. My husband learned early on in our relationship that a good photo to remember something by means more to me than any physical gift or souvenir.

Having children of my own has reinforced the importance of photographing everyday life as it evolves, and being the one to take those images for clients brings me such joy.

With almost a decade of high school teaching under my belt, and five years spent in marketing prior to that, delving into the photography world has allowed me to engage skills from all of my experiences to date.

I’m a storyteller at heart. A great photograph is created through forming a connection to the subject, whilst possessing an innate skill to see the moment and an ability to put those in front of the camera at ease. All of which, I’m told, I possess and foster.
